City of Oxford’s Emily Nisbet has been selected to represent Scotland at the forthcoming the Youth Dual Nations competition in Bangor, Northern Ireland.

The 14-year old will compete for her nation from February 28 to March 2.

This adds to City’s recent tally of representative selections.

Ten of their younger swimmers have been chosen to represent the Oxfordshire and North Buckinghamshire in an inter-county junior gala next month.

The swimmers are Chiara De Vita, Delphine Little, Erin Gilchrist, Maia Little, Olivia Webster, Natasha Fenton, Ewan Springett, Theo Cooke, James McNally and Jacob Adams.

Meanwhile, Nisbet was one of the City swimmers to win a medal at the City of Derby long-course level 1 gala in the 50-metre pool at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

Nisbet finished third overall in the girls’ 14-year-old age group competition, winning a cash prize of £25.

City’s other medallists were Jessica Ramsay, who won bronze in the aged 14 100m backstroke, Emily Wood, with a bronze in the aged 14 100m breaststroke, while Alex Murphy took silver and bronze in the men’s open 50m and 100m breaststroke competitions respect-ively.
