SUNDAY'S Oxfordshire Cross County Championships have been postponed due to the wet weather.
The event, which doubled up as round three of the Oxford Mail Cross Country League, was due to be held at the new venue of Fir Tree Farm, Warmington, near Banbury.
But after an inspection this afternoon, organisers decided the course was too wet to run on.
Oxfordshire AA chairman John Sear said: "There are certainly potential weather issues, and importantly there are also health and Safety issues which Luke McNeill (league secretary) and I have discussed and decided that we should postpone the event."
