BB&O PREMIER DIVISION

BICESTER’S good form continued with a 15-9 derby victory at Gosford All Blacks.

Gosford took the lead with a penalty from scrum half Tim Ellis, but Bicester replied with a penalty try after home fly half Bill Smith prevented the ball being played by the visiting pack.

Will Hammond managed to miss the conversion and Ellis’s second penalty made it 6-5 at half-time.

Ellis struck again to increase Gosford’s lead, but Bicester came back strongly to take the spoils in the final quarter.

Flanker Niall Morrow’s try made it 10-9 before scrum half Mike Harris fed captain Dan Spencer to score in the corner.

Wing Ben Bodinham went close for Gosford, who now trail leaders Tadley by 11 points.

Chipping Norton won 15-10 at home to Slough, while Littlemore lost 73-46 at home to Aylesbury Athletic.
