DEAN Seals signed off with a hat-trick of tries as Oxford Harlequins bounced back from their first defeat with a 64-3 home hammering of Marlow.

The full back bagged a treble in his final match before heading home to South Africa, while wing Jack Robinson also struck three times for the rampant leaders.

Robinson ran in his first from fly half Zac Norris’s cross-kick on four minutes, with Seals then racing over from 40 metres for Norris to convert.

Nick Carvey kicked Marlow’s only points via a penalty before teammate George Jafari was stretchered off with an ankle injury.

Quins flanker Ben Selby bagged try No 3 from a solo run after which Marlow’s Charlie Rigg was sent off for abusing the referee.

It was 29-3 at the break after lock Allan Purchase drove over and Robinson ran in his second, Norris converting the former.

Robinson completed his treble on 46 minutes, with Norris converting.

Norris scored himself, with his conversion making it 43-3.

Quins No 8 Jackson Achilles was yellow-carded, but the tries kept coming.

Seals completed his treble with a length-of-the-field interception, converted by Norris, followed by a speedy finish from Norris’s chip, to which Seals added the extras.

Centre Mike Lee rounded off the rout with a try converted by Norris.

Grove came on strong in the second half to hammer basement boys Salisbury 57-8.

The visitors led 14-8 at half-time, which they reached with Matt Young, Guy Nicholl and Dave Maryon in the sin-bin.

But once back to a full complement, Grove took control.

Harry Carr led the way with four tries, while Tom Clipsham added a brace.

Nick Sevier and Ben Nicholl also crossed over, with Roger Sevier slotting seven conversions and a penalty.

Two tries from James Monks helped Witney ease to a 25-6 victory at Newbury.

Newbury trailed just 10-6 at one point, with Richard West slotting two penalties.

Matt Clarke and James Burke also went over for Witney, with Henry Lamb kicking a penalty and a conversion.
