BROTHERS Steve (left) and Richard Kilbee, from Cowley, caught no fewer than 23 double-figure pike on a three-day trip to Scotland’s Loch Awe.
Best fish fell to Steve at 22lb 12.0oz while Richard's caught another of 21.8.0. They also caught some jacks.
The fish fell to a variety of sea dead baits (mackerel, sardines and herrings) that were either float-fished or legered.
Said Steve: “It’s an eight-hour journey, but when you get there it’s worth it.”
