Divisions 7-10

AARON Huish smashed the highest score of the day (183) as Tetsworth 2nd amassed a huge 388-3 at Swinbrook 2nd.

Hamid Abdul (83) and Richard Williams (66no) put Swinbrook to the sword, before Nigel Huish claimed 6-22 as Swinbrook were bowled out for 183 in their reply.

Westbury 2nd stretched their lead at the top of Division 7 after a 102-run home win over Bampton.

There were contributions from Steve Wilkes (43no), Michael Loggin (42), Harry Smith (35) and Sam Harper (32) as Westbury posted 211-8.

Wilkes then claimed 3-15 and Will Woodward 3-25 as Bampton were shot out for 109.

Stonesfield 2nd romped to a comfortable nine-wicket home success over East & West Hendred 2nd.

Kevin Sherbourne took 5-21 in Hendred’s 121 all out, before Paul Jackson hit 54 not out to lead Stonesfield to victory.

In Division 8, Ducklington marched on at the top with a six-wicket home win over Marcham 2nd.

Dan Bishop was the star of the show, taking 4-31 in Marcham’s 141 all out, before compiling 81 not out as Ducklington raced to 144-4.

Zac Leonard claimed 5-52 to help West Ilsley 2nd to a five-wicket home triumph over Cowley Internationals 2nd.

Cowley were all out for 159, and then Tom Scriven hit 64 not out in Ilsley’s 161-5.

Dave Norris’s 5-41 led Radley to an eight-wicket win over visitors Broughton & North Newington.

Broughton were bowled out for 64, and then Darren Jones (34) steered Radley to 65-2.

In Division 9, Hanborough 2nd’s Jack Buckingham took 6-11 to lead his side to a 136-run victory at Deddington 2nd. Batting first, Hanborough posted 194-9, Sam Walker top-scoring with 51 and James McPhee taking 5-27. Deddington were shot out for 58 as Buckingham ran riot.

A haul of 6-39 from George Goodenough was not good enough as Sunningwell 2nd lost by 26 runs at Minster Lovell 3rd.

Youngster Sean Hubbert hit 53 in Minster’s 192 all out, despite Goodenough’s efforts, before Hubbert claimed 4-53 as Sunningwell were bowled out for 166.

Eynsham 2nd posted a 114-run home win over Dorchester 2nd.

Roland Margerison (59) and Sam Rostron (52) helped Eynsham to 221 all out, despite 5-60 from Anthony Harris.

Dorchester fell to 107 all out in reply after three wickets apiece for Steve Cooper (3-27) and Sebastion Gibson (3-34).

In Division 10, Wootton & Boars Hill closed the gap on the leaders with a six-wicket win at Westcott 2nd.

Westcott were bowled out for 182, before Marcus Charman hit 73 in Wootton’s 185-4.
