WITNEY Road Runners’ Josh Ridley also tasted victory over the weekend, coming first in the inaugural 10k Airbase Race at Heyford.
Ridley cruised home in 34mins 10secs, some 90 seconds clear of runner-up Phil Beastall (Cheltenham & County Harriers).
Meanwhile, clubmate and vet 50 athlete Nick Moglia won the Buscot 10K, clocking 41.35.
Witney’s successful weekend also saw Sally Howard take the second ladies’ prize at the Kingham 12K, where she recorded 54.20.
