Abingdon will host the finale of a major initiative to showcase their sport to ‘women and girls only’ as a special squash and racketball roadshow – one of just six to be held in the UK.
The final roadshow comes to Abingdon on Sunday, June 23 and the finale will also include an additional two-hour session from 4-6pm in addition to the normal roadshow from 12-3pm.
The session will feature a women’s exhibition match, a question and answer sessions, as well as a “play the pro” opportunity for several lucky winners.
Anyone attending a previous roadshow is entitled to free entry to this special session.
The roadshows are the brainchild of Sue Wright, Commonwealth Games gold medallist and four-time winner of the British ladies’ national championships.
Open to girls from five years of age through to senior ladies – the roadshows are available to everyone, including those who have yet to even pick up a racket.
