That's all we've got time for today. Thanks for all your tweets, one of the busiest chats we've had this season so couldn't use them all...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:30am
Likely we'll see Pittman play in the Ox Senior Cup semi next week. He'll need game time before we see the best of him. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:30am
Pittman is getting there, Ryan. You can't say he's fully fit because he's not had any football since Dec but could be in the squad now.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:29am
@OxfordMailOUFC Rigg's been of form for the last couple of weeks. Pittman fully fit now? He's a good option. Beano and Smalley a good pair.
— @RyanDaviess15 18 March 2013
11:25am
Rigg has featured in 38 of #oufc's 39 league games, more than anyone else, and started 36.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:24am
@andywilmer @oxfordmailoufc Pittman, Dubes have been injured a lot and it is concerning.
— @OXONAssassin 18 March 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC With Pittman back there will be more competition for wingers in the starting line up. #motivation
— @MichaelOnToast 18 March 2013

11:24am
@OxfordMailOUFC it's a good idea he will be tired I'm pretty sure he has played most games and that's a lot to ask for any player
— @andywilmer 18 March 2013
11:21am
@OxfordMailOUFC more than likely due to the amount of games played. He needs a rest it did potter a bit of good
— @andywilmer 18 March 2013
11:21am
@OxfordMailOUFC Smalley & Constable are too similar to be playing alongside each other. Pittman offers something different, fancy playoffs.
— @JackSimpson_93 18 March 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC I agree the season is over. We're too far behind now to catch up and IL is telling the fans to back CW?
— @JamesAPittaway 18 March 2013
11:21am
Pittman coming back gives another option on the left, which may allow Rigg to come out of the side for a couple of games? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:21am
Think that's a bit harsh on Rigg, Grant. I thought he was having a good season until a few weeks ago. Agree he's having a dip now though.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:20am
@OxfordMailOUFC I don't know why Rigg keeps playing every game. Can run with it but can't pass or cross.
— @GrantTaylor96 18 March 2013
11:18am
Fair point, Clare. But it's not helped them too much, they're bottom and only Aldershot have scored fewer goals.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:18am
@OxfordMailOUFC accrington James Beattie
— @Clare19752 18 March 2013
11:13am
#oufc don't have a specialist attacking coach, but that's not unusual in League Two. Does anyone know of a club at this level who has one?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:13am
@OxfordMailOUFC think it's too much to achieve now, but no point dwelling on the negatives.
— @mjgelder 18 March 2013
11:13am
@OxfordMailOUFC do we still not have a proper attacking coach to work with our strikers?
— @06Russ 18 March 2013
11:08am
@oxfordmailoufc how can we expect to get into the playoffs if we find putting the ball in the net so complicated. The strikers are woeful
— @pauloufc86 18 March 2013
11:07am
On paper it looks a fascinating game - Northampton have the best home form, #oufc have the best away form.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:07am
Northampton usually attracts a decent following from #oufc - the atmosphere last season was electric. Who's going on Saturday?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:05am
Clearly #oufc aren't taking chances but consider this. Marc Richards was hot property last summer but Sat's goal was his 7th in 27 starts.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:05am
Hi Mark, good to see there's at least one #oufc optimist out there. Still hopeful? They need an almost perfect finish don't they?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
11:03am
@OxfordMailOUFC 4 wins from last 6 games incl top 2 = not bad?
— @mjgelder 18 March 2013
10:59am
You're right Myles, Constable and Pittman started at Accrington. JP's goal that day was superb, so cruel to get injured just afterwards.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:58am
@andywilmer @OxfordMailOUFC at the acrrington game where he got injured he was brilliant and im pretty sure he starter with beano
— @MylesTarry 18 March 2013
10:58am
@MylesTarry @oxfordmailoufc I like JPP a lot would like to see him start with Beano just behind him I don't think 2 side by side works
— @andywilmer 18 March 2013
10:56am
Pittman is back in contention, Myles, but after missing so much time it's asking a lot for him to make a real impact. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:56am
@OxfordMailOUFC the sooner we get JPP back in the first team the better, he can dribble and run like potter and rigg but he can finish !
— @MylesTarry 18 March 2013
10:56am
@OxfordMailOUFC not many I would keep though to be honest to many players who have reached their limit as far as I'm concerned
— @andywilmer 18 March 2013
10:53am
@OxfordMailOUFC I'd agree that 6 goals isn't ideal but what does it matter if its the 5th or 95th min?!
— @rstevenson77 18 March 2013
10:52am
There is plenty of scope for a significant change to the squad in the summer with 16 players out of contract. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:52am
RT @andywilmer: @OxfordMailOUFC we need a freshen up from top to bottom we need a forwards coach & we need a proven scorer not just a cheap has been
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:51am
Think Craddock will come back into the #oufc XI now for Northampton.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:51am
@OxfordMailOUFC ! When we gonna start with craddock instead of smally, constable! On the past few games both had chance to score and failed
— @BigKevTheLegend 18 March 2013
10:47am
@OxfordMailOUFC 9 L2 games at home in 2013, only 6 goals scored, and one of those was a 95th min goal from a CB. Tells its own story!
— @realpaulhawtin 18 March 2013
10:46am
RT @The_Other_One1: @OxfordMailOUFC although it's disappointing where we are in the table compared to our targets, I think that people need to remember the BSP
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:46am
RT @ABrown31: @OxfordMailOUFC I think there's a real chance of a significant drop in attendances (sub 5k). in the end, that will be what axes Wilder.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:46am
@OxfordMailOUFC it's hard to change what needs to changed! have a plan B for a start not just chuck Worley on hoping he will get a goal.
— @andywilmer 18 March 2013

10:44am
@OxfordMailOUFC Deja Vu also seems to have also left us finishing in the league in the same position as the last. Saturday was the turn-off
— @DJChurch94 18 March 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC Come on. It isn't really about the points its about our ability to take advantage of the situation. Saturday showed we can't
— @nicksmee 18 March 2013
10:42am
Welcome back Andy. What would you have done differently on Saturday? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:42am
RT @andywilmer: @OxfordMailOUFC surely IL can see that CW can't man manage correctly & doesn't have the tactical know how to win the day to say games??
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
RT @andywilmer: @OxfordMailOUFC a change of manager is desperately needed we can't carry on consistently being inconsistent were going no where fast
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:41am
#oufc have been written off before in the last month or so and come back strongly. Could they do it again or was Sat the key?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:39am
Morning Dan, there was a sense of deja vu in the pattern of the game. You can't miss that many chances and keep getting away with it. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:39am
Hi Chris, that's pretty much the assessment from everyone at #oufc after the game. They seemed to run out of ideas in the 2nd half.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 March 2013
10:39am
@OxfordMailOUFC Same old story! Not taking our chances, that loss for me seems to have left us too far behind the play-off contention #oufc
— @DJChurch94 18 March 2013
10:36am
@OxfordMailOUFC first half excellent bar putting ball in the net. Second half lacked any sort of belief. Central midfield needs creativity
— @ChrisDarley88 18 March 2013

Good morning everyone and welcome to our online discussion of all-things Oxford United.
Another week, another swing from one emotion to another as the euphoria of Tuesday’s late win against Barnet was quickly replaced by frustration in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Chesterfield.
Does the Spireites result give the U’s too much to do in the final seven games, or are you still optimistic a late surge could yet come?
Get in touch on that or any other points by tweeting us @oxfordmailoufc or by posting a comment below.
