ICE HOCKEY: Stars seek eight wins in a row

Oxford City Stars are looking to make it eight wins in a row when they entertain Slough Jets in the National League South Division 2 tomorrow (6.15pm).

Stars have been injury-free since Christmas break and have a full squad from which to choose their line-up.

After an impressive start, Slough are on a six-game streak without a win. However, they did hold leaders Peterborough to a 3-3 draw in January.

Meanwhile, Stars’ overall points race is hotting up, with Darren Elliott and Alan Green deadlocked at 39 each.

Elliott leads on 28 assists, while Green tops the scoring with 26 goals.
