RACING: Long Run in cheekpieces

Long Run is set to wear cheekpieces for the first time in public when he aims to regain his crown in the Betfred Cheltenham Gold Cup on March 15.

The eight-year-old, owned by Robert Waley-Cohen, who lives at Edgehill, near Banbury, schooled successfully in the headgear under his jockey son, Sam, at Lambourn yesterday.
