JAMES Bolton was the first veteran home in the High Bridge Jewellers Bourton-on-the-Water 10K.

The 40-year-old Woodstock Harrier set a personal best time of 32mins 59secs to finish fifth overall in cold conditions.

Oxford City’s Julian Rich-ardson was the first vet 45 man, finishing 18th in 33.59.
