ELYSIA Ridley finished sixth in the Welsh Cross Country Championships at Glanusk Park, near Crickhowell.

The 26-year-old, from Ascott-under-Wychwood, completed the 6,170m ladies’ course in 22mins 58secs.

Army officer Ridley was the fifth runner home for her first-claim club Swansea Harriers, such was their dominance in the team event.
