MAX Crocombe has been selected for the New Zealand squad for the OFC Under 20 Championship in Fiji next month.
The 19-year-old was included in a group of 26 players last month and he is one of two goalkeepers in the final 20-man squad.
Crocombe, who made his first team debut for United against Burton Albion last month, was thrilled to get a Junior All Whites call-up.
He said: "It's brilliant news.
"It's the next step on the ladder and I know I've still got a long way to go to get to where I want to be, but this means a lot to me."
The winners of the tournament, held on March 21-29, will go on to the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey this summer.
Crocombe will miss several United games, so Wayne Brown will come into the squad as back-up for Luke McCormick.

So I say once again, Wilder out, also out with the donkey midfield players and give the young a chance, sign fit players not broken ones and play football showing you care.

Better managers than him have been dismissed, its now his time to go and refresh the structure of the club.

Mark my words, him and Tyrone will be gone at the end of the season if WIlder is still there, lets hope and pray he is gone soon.
