We'll be back same time same place next Monday to chew over the York game. See you then, have a cracking week. #oufc

11:32am
Peep peep! That's the final whistle on today's chat. Good start to the week, thanks for all your contributions.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:32am
No news, Ashley. The search is ongoing and think a signing will arrive at some stage, but no joy yet.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:30am
@OxfordMailOUFC Any news on this creative midfielder joining on loan? #oufc
— @AshleyHall07 18 February 2013
11:29am
Welsh have a release clause, so if they went down they could go. But they're trying to establish themselves here, so it wouldn't be a given.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:29am
@OxfordMailOUFC L Welsh's defeat has landed them in relegation mire - if they do go down, will they also leave the Kasstad?
— @rorydalziel 18 February 2013
11:27am
Great stat, Dan. May just pinch that for later in the week!
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:26am
@OxfordMailOUFC Interesting that Oxford's win at Plymouth was Wilder's 100th victory incharge! Ninth on longest-serving managers list aswell
— @DJChurch94 18 February 2013
11:26am
@danielfreeman83 @OxfordMailOUFC not directly no. But I would hope our lease/contract includes a clause regarding quality of playing surface
— @OUFC1976 18 February 2013
11:25am
Not sure if that's any consolation, but it's definitely been a factor in its deterioration.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:24am
One big problem with the pitch is there wasn't time to prepare it for a groundshare, due to L Welsh having to wait for an appeal...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
...in theory this should be the worst it will ever be, as there will be time to do the prep in May/June this year. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:22am
We've got just under 10 mins left for today, so if there's anything else #oufc-related you want to share then now is the time...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:22am
@OUFC1976 @oxfordmailoufc that's all well and good but we can't do anything about it. We don't own it
— @danielfreeman83 18 February 2013
11:22am
@danielfreeman83 @OxfordMailOUFC but as tenants we should be entitled to a pitch thats fit for purpose
— @OUFC1976 18 February 2013
11:20am
@OxfordMailOUFC isn't it about time that we reminded everyone that the Kassam Stadium pitch isn't the property of OUFC.
— @danielfreeman83 18 February 2013
11:19am
Ha, the thought crossed my mind too. The good news is L Welsh are now not at home until April 14, gives the surface a chance to recover.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:18am
RT @The_Other_One1: @OxfordMailOUFC do you think top gear played rugby on our pitch too?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:12am
Interested to hear your thoughts on Montrose. Is it a coincidence he seems to play better for #oufc away from home?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:12am
@OxfordMailOUFC thought Craddock's movement and energy were excellent. He made the chances he missed himself, but should have scored.
— @DavidRGreenwood 18 February 2013
11:10am
@OxfordMailOUFC was never a goal. I was right behind. Couldn't believe they initially gave it, was cheering/laughing until they changed it!
— @DavidRGreenwood 18 February 2013
11:08am
Must mention the @oulfc game on Sunday vs Newcastle Utd in the FA Women's Cup. Their debut at the Kassam, 1pm ko. Who's going? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:06am
It's a shame we haven't seen more of Constable-JPP. That goal JP scored at Accrington was class, but then mins later he popped his shoulder.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:06am
Thanks Braidy. It's not the clearest of angles but think they got it right in the end. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
11:03am
@OxfordMailOUFC its on the sky sports website.. http://t.co/CfywDDav
— @BraidyJohnson 18 February 2013
11:03am
@OxfordMailOUFC Beano
— @yellowdruid 18 February 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC I think if JPP can stay fit that he is a great strike partner with Constable, adds good pace but his fitness is an issue
— @MylesTarry 18 February 2013
10:59am
Constable now on 11 goals for the season, Craddock 12. Who is going to finish top for #oufc?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:58am
@OxfordMailOUFC The non-goal incident can be seen on the highlights on Sky Sports website. Looks like it just landed on the roof of the net.
— @OUFCGoldenBoy 18 February 2013
10:58am
How much of a boost was having Craddock back? Yes he should've scored the 1-on-1 but does anyone thing TC & JC aren't the best front two?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:55am
Thought the most surprising thing about the incident was it didn't make the BBC highlights in the evening. Odd. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:55am
@OxfordMailOUFC never a goal, I missed it go in as I was clapping for a corner
— @The_Other_One1 18 February 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC I was at game, very hard to tell, but I argued it looked like some (maybe less 1 inch) hit the bar, so whole ball not out!
— @Crabby5 18 February 2013
10:53am
Apparently the assistant on that side slipped so didn't see the incident. My initial reaction from up in the box was it had gone out.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:52am
@OxfordMailOUFC I did not think it was a goal. Lino that side was a joke.
— @yellowdruid 18 February 2013
10:51am
Agree yellowdruid. Thought Rigg was quiet & Davis was getting exposed. Was surprised LO'B didn't go to left back & LD wasn't pushed forward.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:51am
@OxfordMailOUFC Bringing on O'Brien was good call, Ply were looking dangerous that side, - he nullified their threat and drove us forward.
— @yellowdruid 18 February 2013
10:49am
What about that ghost goal on Saturday? Anyone in the away end get a good look at it. We've got pics in today's paper which seem to rule...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
...it out and Wilder agreed with the eventual decision, but Constable & Parker were adamant the whole of the ball didn't go out. Thoughts?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:46am
@OxfordMailOUFC Parker impressed defensively and supporting DB - we looked more solid on right. Could see that he had previously played FB.
— @yellowdruid 18 February 2013
10:45am
RT @ABrown31: @OxfordMailOUFC Well i can't see us going through Gillingham Vale and Rotherham unscathed. This could set us up for them 3 nicely though.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:45am
@OxfordMailOUFC every game is a must win from now on to avoid getting dragged down the table if nothing else!
— @andywilmer 18 February 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC york is a must as my mates from home are york fans!
— @captainox 18 February 2013
10:45am
Lenagan was asked at the forum about chances of offering McCormick another contract. He said unlikely, Crocombe is preferred No2 to Clarke.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:44am
RT @Clare19752: @OxfordMailOUFC I don't think he's a bad reception in all 4 games
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
RT @Yellowtillidie: @OxfordMailOUFC had a feeling he would keep a clean sheet, be interesting to see if he is offered a deal in summer
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:43am
#oufc are searching for another midfielder but finding quality on their budget isn't easy. Can see why JFC would be mentioned, but not...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
...heard anything concrete on that. He's not played a minute for Brighton since going back. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:43am
RT @CaptainTomox: @OxfordMailOUFC Any news on the new midfielder coming in? Rumours of it being JFC.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
RT @ABrown31: @OxfordMailOUFC Do you see us a central midfielder light still. Chappers is struggling for form, do we need another body? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:40am
@OxfordMailOUFC yeah let him start he was part of a winning side and that is only a positive thing! Rest potter for sure
— @andywilmer 18 February 2013
10:40am
Absolutely, getting that win was important to get out of the rut, but it's what happens next that really matters. Is York a must-win? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:40am
RT @andywilmer: @OxfordMailOUFC carrying on from the win is the most important thing we all know how inconsistent we have been all season.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
RT @WarroF1: @OxfordMailOUFC Really important for a strong start to the York match. Crowd turned very quickly when we played Fleetword, and rightly so.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:40am
@OxfordMailOUFC still a little worried, although we out played them we still only scored 1 goal against a poor team. Hard games up as well.
— @The_Other_One1 18 February 2013
10:38am
I thought Parker did well. He's not going to dribble past 3 or 4 like Potter can but I get the feeling he's more consistent. Showed...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
...really good energy levels on Saturday. Potter maybe needs a break anyway, do you think Parker should play this weekend? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:38am
RT @MylesTarry: @OxfordMailOUFC I wasn't at the game but does Parker deserve to start ahead of Potter to give him a bit of a rivalry on that side?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
RT @andywilmer: @MylesTarry @oxfordmailoufc good point I think that's where we have lacked competition all season! Parker did well & deserves a chance!
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:35am
Morning Ransley. Good point, spoke to McCormick briefly last week and he was a bit nervous about the reception he'd get from his former...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
...club. The Plymouth journos weren't sure either beforehand, but in the end it seemed very positive. First clean sheet too.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:35am
@OxfordMailOUFC great reception for McCormick worth a mention?
— @Yellowtillidie 18 February 2013
10:33am
Hi Andy. Yes, no doubt it could have been more comfortable for #oufc, but three points was the most important thing.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 18 February 2013
10:33am
@OxfordMailOUFC I'm pleased with the win but again we should have had a couple more with missed chances! But a win is a win regardless!
— @andywilmer 18 February 2013
