GOLF: Pepperell makes cut

A super five-under-par round of 67 – the joint fifth lowest of the day – enabled Frilford Heath’s Eddie Pepperell to make the cut in the Africa Open at East London, South Africa.

The 22-year-old seemed out of it after a 77, but stormed back and now trails leader Adilson Da Silva by 14 shots.
