Sale Sharks wing Mark Cueto will hope to find the Kassam Stadium a happy hunting ground again tomorrow.
Cueto, who became the Premiership’s all-time leading try scorer with 76 after notching against Exeter last week, played on both occasions when Sale won the European Challenge Cup at the Kassam in 2002 and 2005.
Now he wants a hat-trick at the venue in the match against London Welsh.
Cueto said: “If we can forget about what happened in the first part of this season, we’ve got to take the confidence and belief from those three consecutive wins to our game at the Kassam.
“It won’t be easy though as Welsh are not a bad side and will, like us, be targeting this as a must-win game.”
