Eleven hardy souls braved the cold and rain to contest North Oxford AC’s Committee v Members match on the Oxford Canal at King’s Bridge.

Mick Abbott, pegged on the brambles swim, had just three fish on bread for a winning weight of 3lb 6oz.

A handy bream of 2.8.0 made up the bulk of his weight.

Bob Yeomans had a bag of bits on bloodworm for 3.2.0 and second place, while Sonny Ayres finished third with 1.1.0 of small skimmers taken on maggot.
