North Oxford AS were forced to transfer their Brown Brothers Cup match from the Evenlode to the Oxford Canal at Frenchay Road due to the floods and an excellent field of 25 contested the event.

Jason Bean took the silverware with 6.2.8 of skimmers and perch, alternating between bread and maggot.

After begging some chopped worm from his brother, Ian Whittington secured second place with a small tench and a decent perch for 2.15.0.

Dave Pether had 2.6.0 of perch and roach for third.

Sutton Courtenay AC fished the second leg of their Markertow Shield on the Culham Cut as none of the river venues were safe enough to fish on.

Seven anglers took part, four of whom did not weigh in.

One chub of 1.11.0 on maggot to a No 20 hook gave Enzo Granito victory, followed by Ian Higgins with 1.6.0 and Gary Stafford with 0.12.0.

Littlemore AS fished their Keith Mills Cup on the canal at Enslow Wharf, where the 14 anglers produced a total weight of 9.4.0 Chris Webb fished pole with fluro pinkie and had a net of silver fish for 3.9.0, while Malcolm Smith had a few chublets and roach for 2.2.0, and Pete Clark was third with 1.10.0.
