Will Crisp was crowned under 13 boys’ champion after collecting his fourth straight victory at the Oxford Mail Cross Country League.
The Swindon Harrier added the Oxford Mail title to the Oxfordshire championship he won at Horspath last month.
Crisp, who is also Oxon schools champion for his age group, clocked 8mins 6secs to roar home by 30 seconds from Team Kennet’s Sammy Hart.
Abingdon Amblers’ Alexander Pennington maintained his push for the under 11 boys’ title with victory.
Pennington clocked 4.09 to edge out Radley’s Henry Insley by three seconds.
He leads Insley by two points in the standings, which sets up a final-round showdown at Harwell on March 3.
Megan Humphreys clocked 14.46 to lead home an Oxford City one-two-three in the under 15/17 girls race.
Beth Hawtin (14.48) was second, with Marnie Wilson third in 15.20.
City’s Alex Scrivener won the under 11 girls’ race in 4.30 for her second straight victory, but Mai Brown (Team Kennet) secured the title by finishing second in 4.35.
