Ottman Lamzini bagged a brace as AFC Blackbirds recorded their ninth straight win in the Oxford City FA with a 4-1 victory at home to The George.
Lamzini opened the scoring and Jack Munt doubled their lead, before Andy Paine pulled a goal back.
Callum Preedy restored Blackbirds’ two-goal cushion after the break, and Lamzini sealed victory with a penalty awarded for a professional foul by Kane Staymaker, who was sent off.
Oakley United won 2-0 at home to Community Allstars, who started the match at Thame with seven players after a car carrying some of their team broke down.
Player-manager Gareth Ward fired Oakley into the lead, before Allstars’ missing players arrived.
However, they were unable to force an equaliser, and Oakley clinched victory when striker Tony Goff bundled home Oakley’s second.
