That's all we've got time for today. Thanks for your input, some very interesting points raised. Have a good Monday. #oufc

@OxfordMailOUFC Wish the lads well for Saturday against the Pirates! 3 points needed for our league position and take heat off McCormick
— @DJChurch94 04 February 2013
11:30am
Think it depends on how well Marsh does between now & the end of the season. If he scores plenty #oufc would surely offer him a deal?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:30am
RT @JamesAPittaway: @OxfordMailOUFC I honestly can't see Marsh coming back. He'll prob 've released in the summer

Hi KPGenius, thanks for getting in touch.
As far as we knew there weren't any other signings which didn't quite happen on Thursday,
There may have been other targets which were kept quiet, but financially I think that's fairly unlikely.

Were there any other signings that were in the pipeline but never happened on deadline day? Would have been great to get another right midfield option in the squad. Looking forward to seeing Montrose back, not having him or Whing available takes the bite out of the midfield.
11:26am
Worth flagging up #oufc's Oxfordshire Senior Cup tie vs Chinnor on Wednesday at Thame Utd. Expecting several 1st teamers to be involved.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:26am
Five mins left for today. Any more for anymore? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:22am
@mattp2490 @oxfordmailoufc Ox v Sheff utd was more expensive than Man City v Watford. Not a high profile game for Man City but still cheaper
— @RealLewisJames 04 February 2013
11:22am
That would probably be worthwhile, Dan. There's no substitute for games so as long as #oufc had suitable gk back-up a loan would be wise.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:20am
@OxfordMailOUFC Sounds good, do you think a loan move for Crocombe at the start of next season will be beneficial? Like Marsh is at Staines
— @DJChurch94 04 February 2013
11:20am
Although Fleetwood don't get big crowds, Fred, they are a strong side because of the money which has been invested in their squad.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:20am
RT @Fred_ugly: @JamesAPittaway @OxfordMailOUFC thats how far we have fallen "Fleetwood at home will be a big test"
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:17am
Two other pieces of info which are worth flagging up. Firstly, Tyrone Marsh bagged a late winner on debut for Staines Town on Sat.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
Secondly, #oufc's ladies had a cracking result in the FA Women's Cup, winning 2-1 at Charlton in the third round yesterday.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:17am
Don't think Crocombe will take it too badly. He will get chances at #oufc, Wilder said last week he'd be offered a new contract.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:16am
RT @DJChurch94: @OxfordMailOUFC Plus McCormick's arrival must be a kick in the teeth to Crocombe. Although inexperienced, he had a decent debut against BAFC
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:16am
The good news is Montrose should be in contention to play on Saturday. It's a shame the majority of #oufc fans haven't seen him yet.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:11am
@OxfordMailOUFC we need montrose in midfield to have any chance of making play offs got to get him fit
— @oufctelboy 04 February 2013
11:11am
I think it's definitely something #oufc need to look at, James. Maybe it's as simple as using the opposite wing more often?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:10am
@OxfordMailOUFC do u think the pitch along dugout side will affect wing play? I didn't go southend but against burton batt/potter were poor!
— @JamesEast 04 February 2013
11:09am
Interesting comparison to #oufc last season. After 29 games they had scored the same no of goals (41).
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
But there has been a big change defensively. This season they've let in 44, compared to just 29 this time last season. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:09am
@OxfordMailOUFC he got clapped by the oxford fans every time he had the ball but was booed by the southend fans
— @CharlieBryant17 04 February 2013
11:09am
@OxfordMailOUFC 442 is our best formation with beano and craddock up front its when we are most dangerous potter and rigg playing wide
— @oufctelboy 04 February 2013
11:06am
RT @petechilton: @MichaelOnToast @OxfordMailOUFC Goals are the principle problem. We need a 20 goal/season player.Hard to find but without that we are stuck
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:06am
@OxfordMailOUFC Pre-Kick off he looked nervous and awkward but on the pitch he had a confident aura about him and looks better than L2.
— @BraddersSimon 04 February 2013
11:06am
Thanks Si, that was the impression I got from a distance. It seemed the boos coming from the Southend fans prompted #oufc's end to back him?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:06am
RT @BraddersSimon: @OxfordMailOUFC Muted applause when his name was announced from the away end. No obvious controversial comments from #oufc fans
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:06am
Again that's probably one fans could answer better than us, Dan. Was anyone planning to watch on Sat and then not go because of the signing?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:01am
@OxfordMailOUFC Do you think the idea of fans boycotting because of McCormick's signing will happen? Already have falling attendances #oufc
— @DJChurch94 04 February 2013
11:01am
@OxfordMailOUFC Fleetwood at home will be a big test
— @JamesAPittaway 04 February 2013
11:01am
...the press box at Southend is behind glass so wasn't easy to tell. #oufc fans in the away end would have a more accurate idea. Anyone?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
11:01am
Hi Pete. He didn't have much to do but thought he looked pretty composed. As for the reaction it sounded fairly positive, but...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:57am
@OxfordMailOUFC I didn't make it to Southend. What was the reception for McCormick like and how did he play?
— @oufcpete 04 February 2013
10:56am
@OxfordMailOUFC Even if we miraculously make the play-offs, I can't see us getting to Wembley again because of our wasteful finishing #oufc
— @DJChurch94 04 February 2013
10:56am
Worth looking to the next few #oufc games: B Rovers (h) on Sat, Fleetwood (h) next Tues, Plymouth (a) Sat 16th.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:55am
@cricketbetting @OxfordMailOUFC I can't see a top 7 finish. We'll prob finish mid table again. Has Wilder run out of ideas?
— @JamesAPittaway 04 February 2013
10:54am
@MylesOUFC @OxfordMailOUFC so if we're not nervous on goal why do we rarely shoot straight?
— @JamesAPittaway 04 February 2013
10:54am
@OxfordMailOUFC we have to take our chances when we get them didnt do that saturday and got punish need at least 7 points from next 9
— @oufctelboy 04 February 2013
10:54am
@OxfordMailOUFC dedicated striker coach...even to work with them for a few mths? Comes up again and again!
— @KenMamos 04 February 2013
10:54am
That's prob fudging the answer a bit, but only the top two in L2 have been consistent. There is time for #oufc, but it'll take a big effort.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:54am
Hi Ed, that's a tricky one to answer. As it stands it will be difficult but as we saw last month #oufc are capable of putting a run together
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:50am
RT @cricketbetting: @OxfordMailOUFC in your opinion will (not can) OUFC make the play-offs? I say they will not. Clear evidence they are not good enough
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:50am
Craddock's injury is a minor one and he may be back for Saturday.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:50am
@JamesAPittaway @oxfordmailoufc Didn't look nervous at all. We were all over them in first half and should've gone in two goals up.
— @MylesOUFC 04 February 2013
10:48am
@OxfordMailOUFC thought we got it up to Richards quickly but then got no where near him for him to pass or do anything
— @kevinspackman 04 February 2013
10:47am
@OxfordMailOUFC Craddock has had a drop in form and as soon as Pitman finds his he gets injured
— @JamesAPittaway 04 February 2013
@OxfordMailOUFC Richards is a poor signing for me, not the player we need to help us push for the play-offs. Hope Craddock returns quick!
— @DJChurch94 04 February 2013
10:47am
With Fleetwood the weekend before it means #oufc have taken 1pt from the last 9. How damaging has that been to their top 7 hopes?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:47am
The obvious problem with that is Southend somehow found a way to stay in the game and then pinch a winner, which was a big blow to #oufc.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:47am
Others may disagree James, but I didn't think #oufc looked nervous, apart from Potter with his chances. They made Southend look average.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:45am
@OxfordMailOUFC I didnt go on Sat but did we look nervous? Is there a lack of confidence?
— @JamesAPittaway 04 February 2013
10:44am
@OxfordMailOUFC No, they're too similar. We need a fast, nippy forward to partner one of them. #oufc
— @MichaelOnToast 04 February 2013
10:43am
What about the Richards-Constable partnership up front? May take a bit of time to settle, but is that the best way forward for #oufc?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:43am
@OxfordMailOUFC should of won the game by a couple of goals, one big mistake cost us
— @CharlieBryant17 04 February 2013
10:40am
@OxfordMailOUFC Definitely a game we should've won. Wasteful finishing again.
— @MylesOUFC 04 February 2013
10:40am
Hi James. It does seem to be a recurring theme, but CW couldn't do much about Potter's misses. One of those simply had to go in.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:40am
@OxfordMailOUFC wilder has always said we're not goos enough in the final 3rd (on goal) and he doesn't appear to have done anything about it
— @JamesAPittaway 04 February 2013
10:35am
We particularly want to hear from #oufc fans who made the trip on Saturday. What were your impressions of the game?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 04 February 2013
10:34am
First, here's Chris Wilder's assessment of #oufc's defeat at Southend on Saturday: http://t.co/OihUG9Jx
