CRICKET: Hammond helps England Under 19s to Test win

OXFORDSHIRE’S Miles Hammond helped England’s Under 19 cricketers to a 107-run victory over South Africa on the final day of the first Test in Cape Town.

The 17-year-old off-spinner, from Oxford, finished with 1-30 from 12 overs as the hosts were bowled out for 163 in their second innings.

Hammond, who played for Cumnor last season, made 39 and took 2-25 in the first innings.
