CRICKET: Hammond off to impressive start on SA tour

Oxfordshire all-rounder Miles Hammond took impressive figures of 9-2-26-3 as England Under 19s dismissed a Western Cape Invitation XI for 117 on the first day of their South African tour opener in Cape Town. Hammond, who plays for Cumnor and only turned 17 earlier this month, made eight not out in England’s 132-7 declared.
