OXFORDSHIRE athletes will be able to compete in the South of England Athletic Association (SEAA) Cross Country Championships after all.
The prestigious event had been due to take place at Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath on Saturday, but on Tuesday it was cancelled due to the cold weather.
However, yesterday organisers said the championships would now take place at the same venue on Saturday, February 16.
The English National Championships follow at Herrington Park, Sunderland on February 23.
- BRYAN Vaughan put his younger rivals to the sword with victory in the Oxford Parkrun.
The Woodstock Harrier, who turns 60 in May, triumphed at a snowbound Cutteslowe Park.
Vaughan completed the multi-terrain 5km course in 20mins 42secs.
