LAWRENCE Clarke says he is “50-50” over whether to compete indoors this winter.

The sprint hurdler, from Christmas Common, returned from an outdoor training camp in South Africa to Britain’s freezing weather this week.

Should he get some indoor racing under his belt, it is likely to be at the European Trials and UK Championships in Sheffield on February 9 and 10.

Clarke, who finished fourth at London 2012, said: “I was not intending to compete indoors this winter.

“However, things are going well, so I may do the indoor trials and see what happens, but at the moment it’s 50-50 as we haven’t planned for it.

“My target is to start racing properly at the beginning of May.”
