Paul Webber’s string prepare to canter in a wintry scene at his Mollington stables, near Banbury.

The yard has been hit by six-seven inches of snow, but Webber has kept his string on the move in the indoor school, before they went back outside yesterday.

The trainer said: “It is always a big extra effort for all the marvellous folk who work with us."
