After work by volunteers today, AFC Wimbledon say their pitch is playable but forecasts of further rain could still jeopardise tomorrow's clash with Oxford United.
The Kingsmeadow pitch was waterlogged on Boxing Day, forcing the fixture against Northampton Town to be called off.
Wimbledon are keen to avoid a second successive washout and a group of 20 supporters spent time today improving the playing surface.
According to the club's website, the pitch is "very wet but currently fit for play".
No pitch inspection has been arranged, but the prospect of more rain overnight means the club will assess the situation in the morning.
