Didcot Tn 3
(Osborne-Ricketts 4, Tappin 38, Elkins 85)
Paulton Rovers 4
(Billing 2, Pearson 48, Jeffries 56, Vyner 75)
Didcot Town slid to their fourth successive loss in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West with defeat by Paulton Rovers at the npower Loop Meadow Stadium.
The Railwaymen made a disastrous start when a mistake from keeper Marco Belloli-Pereira presented James Billing with a simple tap-in in the second minute.
But Elliott Osborne-Ricketts gave Didcot the perfect response with a shot from 20 yards which dipped over Paulton keeper Kyle Phillips.
And the home side deservedly took the lead before half-time with a wonderful strike from Ryan Tappin, who gave Phillips no chance. But Didcot fell apart after half-time.
Paulton defender Stuart Pearson capitalised on a poor punch from Belloli-Pereira to equalise from close range.
The visitors then took the lead with a strike by Josh Jefferies, which took a heavy deflection and flew past the stranded keeper.
And it really was a game to forget for Belloli-Pereira when he dropped the ball from a corner, and gifted Paulton substitute Joe Vyner a fourth goal.
Sam Elkins gave Didcot a lifeline with a superb strike five minutes from time, but the home side were unable to force a late equaliser.
