Headington Amateurs slumped to a surprise 2-1 defeat at home to lowly Penn & Tylers Green in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East.
Luke Cuff’s opener for Headington just before half-time was swiftly cancelled out by Jonathan Feaver, and Chris Hurst volleyed the visitors’ winner after 76 minutes.
AFC Hinksey thumped hosts Milton United 8-2.
Toby Webster, Anaclet Odhiambo and Ryan Macer bagged braces with Alex Fasoranti and Julian McCalmon also netting.
Declan Hartigan and Joe Parker scored for Milton.
Chinnor won 3-2 at Chalfont Wasps with goals from Jonathan Mason, Jamie Essex and David Pennant.
Steve Rogers and Tom Seddon scored for Chalfont.
Carterton moved up to fifth place in Division 1 West with a 2-0 win at Lambourn Sports.
Mark Norridge and Jamie MacDonagh were the Carterton scorers.
Matt Bown’s last-minute goal condemned North Leigh Res to a 4-3 defeat at Wootton Bassett Town. Bown was adding to his earlier strike, while Mark Barnes and Scott Walduck also netted for Wootton.
North Leigh replied through Declan Sheppard, Alfie Saunders and an own goal.
Hook Norton’s match at home to Letcombe was abandoned after 55 minutes when a torrential downpour made the pitch unplayable.
The game was goalless at the time.
