Henley Hawks will put their title credentials on the line when they entertain second-placed Hartpury College at Dry Leas tomorrow.

The duo are tied on 51 points at the head of the National 2 South table, having each won ten of their 12 games.

However, Hawks go into the fixture forced to make a number of changes.

The non-availability of Ali James at centre means that captain Tom Allen moves up from full back to take his place and the reliable Neil Baggett comes in at No 15.

Scrum-half Luke Carter, who has impressed when coming off the bench, makes his first start, as does Dave Manning at tight head prop.

Hugo Milford Scott is given the nod at loose head.

Chinnor head coach Jason Bowers will wait on the fitness of James Cathcart before naming his team for the mid-table clash with Clifton.

Cathcart is still struggling with a knock picked up a fortnight ago, so Will Millett is drafted into the squad.

“We have two games before Christmas, and are aiming to build on out points tally before the end of the year,” he said.

Oxford Harlequins manager Steve Chadbone hopes his side can put last week’s disappointing defeat against Amersham & Chiltern behind them when the face Avonmouth Old Boys in National 3 South West.

Struggling Quins were furious when a late try was disallowed that would have earned them a draw.

“It was a perfectly good try, everyone could see that, and the players were very down after,” he said. “But that’s gone now and we have to concentrate on the games ahead.”

Luke Evans, who has come from Exeter University, makes his debut at centre, while Sean Brook comes in at prop for the unavailable Epi Kalemani.
