FOOTBALL: More gloom for struggling Freeland

Freeland A stayed rooted to the foot of the Witney & District FA Division 1 table after a 2-1 defeat at Chadlington, writes ANTHONY BARLOW.
Martin Plumbridge and Josh Catling put Chadlington 2-0 up, before Dan Alsworth pulled one back.
Eynsham Sports are up to second in Division 2 after a 2-1 win over Charlbury Town Res, Greg Seeney and John Ayres on target, with John Webb replying.
FC Hollybush moved two points clear at the top of Division 3 with a 4-1 win against Spartan Rangers Res, with Lee Travers, Arron Hyatt, Paul Dray and Luke Champion the scorers. Jack Mills netted for Spartan.
Division 4 leaders Ducklington A saw off Wychwood Foresters 4-2, with goals from Josh Hartley (2), Bradley Snell and Scott Mason. Ben Powell and Ian Goff replied.
Nathan Beckett hit a hat-trick as Bampton went third with a 4-2 win at Milton Res.
Jack Kenny was also on target, with Joe Bartlett and Ben Schofield hitting back.
Spartan Rangers A are out of the bottom three with a 3-1 win at Corinthians, thanks to a hat-trick from Tom Merchant. Frank Webb put Corinthians ahead.
