Oxford Hawks women made the long trek to Norfolk to face Conference East leaders Harleston Magpies worthwhile by winning 2-0.

Becky Odlin gave them a half-time lead.

In the second half, Harleston upped the pressure, but Hawks weathered the storm and doubled their lead through Katie Hewitt. Harleston threw everything forward, but fine defending from Kirsty Chapman and Henri Coles kept them at bay.

Oxford moved up to fourth in South League Division 2 with a 4-2 victory over Henley thanks to Naomi Gay, Martha Foster, Hayley Sawyer and an own goal.

Bicester were pipped 4-3 at home to Aylesbury in Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Division 1.

Aylesbury were a goal up after ten minutes, Lisa Ryan levelling after the break, only for the visitors to go 3-1 clear.

Jan Southam reduced the arrears, but Aylesbury scored again before Gina Girvan reduced the deficit after the final whistle.

Witney were beaten 2-1 at PHC Chis-wick in Regional 2, going 2-0 down to two penalty corner goals before Izzy Stubbs pulled one back late in the second half.
