Grogreen Lodge, runner-up to Primo Impact in the BAGS championship last week, is primed by trainer Richard Baker to land the spoils in the A1 over 450 metres at Oxford Stadium tonight.
It looks a competitive top heat, with Maurice Massey’s Jolly Nelson chasing a treble.
However, Lodge, who had a trial spin round the tight Poole circuit on Tuesday in readiness for the final round of the BAGS competition next Saturday, should be up to the mark, despite Baker having three runners in the race.
Mash Mad Monkey and Shelbourne Cheri should be added for punters wanting a forecast.
The John Higgins-trained Move Over Obama, winner of his last two races, is taken to land the A3, where Indigo Kitti and Movealong Mayor appear the main dangers.
Philanimo Bill looks like another winner for in form Maurice Massey in the sprint.
