The Rothschild Arms (Aston Clinton) continue to lead the way in the Oxfordshire Super League with a 6-3 win over Horse & Jockey (Banbury).
Stephen Wright put Jockey 1-0 up in the first set, but Steve Hanlon and Stuart Robinson won the next two for Rothschild.
Stuart White (27.01) levelled for Jockey, only to see Gary Price (25.47) and Stuart Dutton (26.84) extend Roths lead to 4-2.
John Russell (25.91) cut the deficit, but Nick Cobb and Terry Davis (26.51) sealed it for the hosts.
Three Tuns (Kings Sutton) beat visitors White Lion (Fewcott) 5-4. Graham Manning got Lion off to a winning start with a 3-1 success.
Ronnie Anderson levelled for Tuns with a 3-2 win, only for Kit Young to restore Lion’s lead by ending Jon Jukes’s unbeaten record.
But Dion Newman, Aaron Stevens and Pete Hall won the next three sets, before Phil Addison sealed it.
Roy Pryor (28.54) and Alan Syphas, with two tons, hit back for Lion.
