HAYLEY Sawyer scored a hat-trick as Oxford cruised to a 4-1 victory at home to Southampton in South Clubs League Division 2.

Sawyer netted Oxford’s first, third and fouth goals, with Kelly Scott scoring their second in a comfortable win.

Witney triumphed 3-0 against Hampstead & Westminster 3rd in Division 3.

Hayley Dobson gave Witney the lead by deflecting in a penalty corner. Captain Katie Gatt then scored from another penalty corner just before half-time.

Witney dominated the second half with some excellent play by midfielder Sabrina Shortland.

Good defence by Tori Larkin led to a breakaway, setting up their third goal, scored by Denise Shaw.

Oxford 2nd slipped to a 3-2 defeat against Wallingford in Division 3A, after leading 2-1 at half-time.

Oxford Hawks suffered a 3-2 defeat at Horsham in Investec Conference East on Sunday.
