ENGLAND No 8 Ben Morgan scored a hat-trick of tries as Gloucester inflicted a second successive LV Cup defeat on Oxford-based London Welsh.

Shane Monagan, Akapusi Qera and Koree Britton also crossed over for Gloucester at Kingsholm, with Freddie Burns kicking 14 points and Rob Cook adding a conversion.

Nick Scott and James Tideswell scored tries for a below strength Welsh, while Gordon Ross slotted eight points.

Alex Davies also landed a conversion for the Exiles, who sit bottom of Pool 4 without a point from their two matches.
