GYMNASTICS: Carterton's gold rush

Carterton won three golds, a silver and bronze at the Oxfordshire Individual Apparatus Competition at Abingdon Gymnastics Club, Berinsfield.
Amelie Meaden won the level 5IA category, scoring 12.50 on beam.
Georgia Bishop, competing at level 4OOA, scored 12.60 to triumph on beam and took silver with a score of 12.25 in the floor exercises.
Ella Mead claimed gold at level 3OOA, scoring 10.8 on beam and won bronze on the floor, with a score of 11.60.
Natasha Granville, in at level 4OOA, took fourth in the floor exercises (11.85).
