Gary Elkins has urged Didcot Town to put their FA Carlsberg Trophy exit behind them when they entertain Swindon Supermarine in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West tonight.

Didcot bowed out with a last-gasp 2-1 defeat by Dorchester Town on Saturday.

“We have really enjoyed having a run in both FA competitions, but it was going to end sometime,” said Didcot boss Elkins.

“Now we have to concentrate our efforts on the league.”

Elkins brings in Taylor James for the suspended Morgan Williams.

Abingdon United welcome back Carl Self after a hamstring injury for the trip to Yate Town, but Aaron Woodley (groin) faces a late test.

Manager Richie Bourne said: “They are a good side, but if we want to finish above halfway you have to get a good result at places like Yate.”

Martin Hutchcox and Chris Jackson are added to Banbury United’s squad for their Premier Division trip to Gosport Borough after returning to the club. Marvin Martin is injured.

Meanwhile, Kynan Isaac is set to go for a trial at Championship club Brighton this weekend after the original date was cancelled when he suffered a hamstring strain.
