BADMINTON: Duo bag golds

Joe Roberts (Brize Norton) and Ashley Garrison (Witney) struck gold in the doubles at the Badminton England Under 17 Tournament at Warwick.
The duo beat Mathew Smith and Luke Phillips (Bucks) 21-18 to claim the crown.
Roberts took silver in the boys’ singles after losing 21-20 to Daniel Horton in the final.
Abingdon’s Safia Khimji, won a doubles gold at the Badminton England Under 11 tournament in Middlesex.
