The names of the two people who died in a crash on the A361 early yesterday have been released.
The male driver, Ferenc Szabo, 32, and female passenger, Szilvia Szabone-Hobor, 34, both from Ferriston, in the Hardwick area of Banbury, were killed instantly when their Vauxhall Astra car collided with an Astra van on Williamscott Hill, north of Banbury, at 5.40 am.
The two are believed to have been a couple and were originally from Hungary. Family members have been informed.
A third passenger from the car and the driver of the van, whose identities have not yet been released, were taken to The Horton Hospital in Banbury with serious injuries.
