A Royal Marine Laid to Rest in Bampton

Royal Marine Jason Mackie's funeral was held in Bampton 4th of June 2009

The funeral of Royal Marine Jason Mackie who was killed on active service in Helmand, Afghanistan. The church of St. Mary the Virgin was packed to overflowing with a large contingent of Marines joining the family and friends of the 21-year-old.
