Crash in Bladon injures man

8:43am Wednesday 22nd February 2012 in Witney

Paramedics are at the scene of a crash near Woodstock this morning.

The accident involving two cars happened at 7.45am on the A4095 between Bladon and Long Hanborough.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: “Our staff are still at the scene and have treated one male patient.”

The extent of the man’s injuries are not yet known.

Dangerous junction, so surprised there are not more accidents here from those pulling out onto the main road and turning towards Bladon.

It needs to be a roundabout, or have traffic lights that sense when someone approaches the junction.

In these financially tough times a cheaper option would be to cut back or rip out those trees so people can see what's approaching. We don't want anymore traffic lights in the area the Eynsham and Cassington ones are irritating enough.
