WITNEY residents can learn how to go green at an environmental fun day tomorrow.
During the event at the Corn Exchange, from 10am until 4pm, people can enjoy games and activities showing how to become more energy-efficient, step on board an energy bus, and pick up some ‘green’ freebies.
There is also the opportunity to find out how fuel-efficient your driving is on a special driving simulator.
The event has been organised by West Oxfordshire District Council. David Harvey, the council’s cabinet member for the environment, said: “It’s important for residents to be aware about the environment and the impact we have on it.
“The aim of this day is to get across a serious message in a fun way. Also important in these difficult economic times is the money that we can save by being more energy and fuel efficient.”
For more information, see the council's website or call 01993 861020.
