Car comes off road in icy conditions
A CAR has crashed on the A40 near Witney as icy and snowy conditions continue to make the roads dangerous for drivers.
The car left the westbound carriageway before the west Witney exit earlier this afternoon.
Police attended the scene, but it is not yet known if anyone was injured.
The county's roads are all open today after heavy snow forced both the A34 and M40 to close for many hours.
The Met Office is warning that icy surfaces may lead to 'longer and more difficult journeys.'
