A WOMAN remains 'critically ill' in hospital after she was seriously injured in a collision involving three cars.
Police officers have released another appeal today for witnesses following the crash, which happened on Main Road in Curbridge, near the junction with Downs Road, just before 9pm on Friday, April 14.
The cars involved were a Citroen C3, a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a 49-year-old local woman, sustained serious injuries and is still in the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Headington.
Sergeant Bryan Smith from the Roads Policing Department said the force were 'still investigating the circumstances' which led to the driver's 'very serious injuries'.
He added: "There were three vehicles involved in collisions at the scene and so we are very keen to hear from anyone who was in the area just before the collisions and may have witnessed the incidents to speak to us as a matter of urgency."
Those with information should contact Sergeant Bryan Smith from the roads policing department via 101 quoting 1396 14/4.
