THE A40 is now clear after a crash involving two cars this morning.

The vehicles collided on the eastbound carriageway near the B4449 Eynsham roundabout just after 10am.

South Central Ambulance Service said it was called at 10.28 and sent an ambulance.

Paramedics treated patients on scene but no one was taken to hospital.

The road was still partially blocked causing slow traffic for several hours, but is now clear.

The ambulance service also sent a rapid response car to a one-vehicle crash on the A40 at Wheatley just before 9am, but said its services were not required in the end.
