Man, 24, arrested in connection with a sexual assault in Witney
A 24-year-old man has been charged by police in connection with a sexual assault in Witney.
Callum King, of Priory Mill Lane in Witney, was charged today with one count of committing an offence with the intention of committing a relevant sexual offence, one count of sexual assault on a female and one count of wounding / inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
The charge is in connection with an incident in which a woman was sexually assaulted in Langel Common in the early hours of Saturday morning.
King was remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
