The inquest into the death of a 76-year-old woman who died in Witney’s Marks & Spencer store will be held today.
At the opening of the inquest on July 7, coroner Darren Salter said Paula Symes, from Woodstock, appeared to have choked to death in the cafe.
The retired maths teacher was out shopping with her husband on July 1, when the incident happened according to Mr Salter.
The inquest was adjourned for more evidence to be collected and is to be concluded at 11.15am at Oxford Coroner’s Court.
