Thieves steal bees and hives

Thieves stole beehives and bees worth about £2,400 from woods on an East Ilsley private estate.
Pc Kirsten Goodfield said: “The eight hives were not visible or accessible by any member of the public.”
The theft happened between April 3 and 7 but police only released details yesterday.
